Questions everyone asks
The nine questions that come up most, ordered by how often men actually ask them rather than by what we assumed.
We counted. These are ordered by how often they actually come up across thousands of posts, which turned out to be nothing like the order we'd have guessed.
1. Does weed help?
The most discussed topic in this entire subject, by a distance.
So both camps are right. A little appears to help with exactly the thing this needs, which is getting out of your own way. A lot does the opposite, and daily use is where the orgasm difficulty shows up. Full version in Level 6.
2. Do I have to tell anyone?
No. Not a partner, not a friend, not anyone.
The only exception is medical: if something is wrong, a doctor needs the real story. They will not be shocked.
The thing worth knowing is that hiding it has a cost of its own, and men report that cost wearing them down more than slow progress does. Level 1 covers it.
3. Do I have to give up wanking?
No, and be suspicious of anyone who tells you otherwise.
Abstinence is community dogma with visible internal dissent. Detailed write-ups exist from men arguing it actively held them back. Others find a few days off makes sessions more responsive.
It's a variable to test, not a rule to obey. Your log will tell you which camp you're in.
4. Should I be sore afterwards?
Mild and fading, occasionally, especially early on. That's normal.
5. Does liking this make me gay?
No. The prostate is standard male equipment. It responds to pressure regardless of who you're attracted to.
What gets you off and who you want are separate questions, and one doesn't determine the other. Straight men do this, gay men do this, and the anatomy is identical.
6. How long is this supposed to take?
Nobody knows, and anyone quoting a number is guessing.
Some men report something real in the first week or two. Plenty measure it in months. Some take years, and a few never get there.
Those reports all come from men who kept going and posted about it. Nobody surveys the ones who stopped, so the real picture is probably slower than what you'll read.
7. Was that it?
If you're asking, the useful question isn't "did that count" but "did anything shut down afterwards".
If arousal continued and there was no crash, something different from an ordinary orgasm happened, whatever you want to call it.
Men who spend a long time adjudicating their own experiences generally report that as wasted energy. The categories matter much less from the inside.
8. Is a prostate-only orgasm actually real?
Yes, and the reason is in Level 1: orgasm and ejaculation are separate physiological processes. That's textbook, not folklore.
What's less established is how common the more spectacular versions are. See below.
9. Which toy should I buy first?
Silicone, small, gently curved, flared base, no vibration to start.
We don't name brands. Every "best of" list in this space is affiliate-funded, and the criteria will outlast any product. Level 3 has the detail.
And one nobody asks, that they should
How common is the multiple-orgasm thing, really?
Twelve men, and the researchers call it rare. Practitioner communities report it far more freely, but those reports are self-selected.
Our own homepage promises you can go again. That's defensible, and the caveat is that nobody knows the rate. You should hear that from us.
